** ^^ This button will take you to calendar with the "Iron infusion consult and treatment" selected. This will ensure we have enough time to do both. Please only book this if you already have your blood work complete. (If you have your blood work already please email it ahead of time). If you don't have blood work yet, please book an injection consult here.
COST: $0 - 120 - $240
To be eligible for IV iron infusions I need to see recent bloodwork (taken with in the last 4 weeks)
You can either do this through your GP or Nurse practitioner or through me (billed privately). See below.
I need to see the following (costs if billed privately through my clinic):
Iron panel and CBC (about $120).
Liver & Kidney Panels, Electrolytes. (about $120).
COST: $180
TIME: 45 minutes
Because... safety first.
Before you are eligible for IV iron therapy we need to have a consult so I can understand the full history and your goals with iron infusion therapy.
We'll review your blood work and do any relevant physical exams (blood pressure for example). If it's warranted and safe to do so, and we have enough time allotted ** we can do the first iron infusion that day or book you back in to begin.
Please come to your appointment fed and hydrated.

I use Venofer (iron sucrose) as it comes with the lowest risk and best safety profile (for a clinic my size).
I recommend weekly infusions for a total of 4 treatments. Each week your IV will contain up to 100 mg of iron.
Your first treatment might be a modified dose, depending on what I learn in your injection consult.
Most see clinical improvements between 3 and 21 days after.
We typically see ferritin increase by 10-15 points for each 100 mg of iron administered (less if anemic).
We will rerun the Iron Panel and CBC approximately 4-5 weeks after your last treatment.
Please come to your appointment fed and hydrated.
I had to laugh. I often joke that telling people to eat their broccoli is not the best & highest use of me.
As I’ve been progressing in my career, I've been honing in on what makes me special, really trying to embody my divine gifts, which inherently attracts people who are in line with what I bring to the table. And it's not vegetables.
The people I'm best primed to help are interested in something deeper than just eating their broccoli.
They are interested in holistic, aka spirit-mind-body medicine.
I know, right? I'm an Naturopathic Doctor who isn't interested in telling you to eat your broccoli.
Because you know that you need to eat your broccoli. You tell me this when you come to see me.
To be clear, when I say, "Eat your broccoli," yes, I am literally meaning eat your broccoli, but I am also meaning any other habit that you "should" be doing more (or less) of like drinking more water, or getting more rest, or drinking less coffee or alcohol.
Driven to find the ultimate root cause I'm curious why you're not "eating your broccoli" even though you know it will likely help you feel good.
I'm wondering what is the internal story or belief that says you're not worthy of feeling good in your healthy body.
I'm speculating what past trauma or experience is blocking your ability to nourish yourself now.
So if you're wanting strictly a diet plan, then honestly I'm not the best fit for you. I'm likely going to refer you to The Metabolism Plan.
But if you're wanting to get to the root cause of why you can’t seem to sustain healthy behaviours then we're a perfect match. This is where I sparkle.
While "eating your broccoli" is a good way to fill your tum tum, it's not the thing that's going to fulfil you deep down.
I'm curious. What's your, "eating your broccoli?" What healthy habbit are you having a hard time sticking to? What do you think your resistance is about? Let me know in the comments below. :)
To your healthy, thriving, delightful life,
